Artist paintbox (formerly Annand’s Paintbox) has been at the Elm Court Craft Village for 20 years offering a number of services for artists of all levels.  The shop owner, Lynette Stock, was once an art-student herself who also took courses in fashion and graphic design. Who can be better qualified to offer helpful advice, which always comes with a friendly smile?

Lynette has created the Artist paintbox as a bright and welcoming environment for everyone, whether you are a discerning artist, an absolute beginner, or simply an art-lover. As well as a vast range of quality art materials on offer, there are also videos and books for ideas and motivation, and workshops to learn and meet people, and paper-craft materials.  Advice is at always at hand - if you are shopping for a budding artistic friend or relative, and not too sure what kind of paints might suit them, Lynette can point you in the right direction.  Materials can also be ordered in if they are not in stock, or if you are looking for something unusual or special (50% deposit, non-refundable).  Please enquire at the shop or give us a call before you visit.

Artist paintbox is also the place for you if you have a favourite photo, some memorabilia, or even one of your own paintings to frame. With over 20 years of experience, our bespoke framing service is of the highest quality with a personal touch. Or, if you’re looking to buy a work of art, you are very welcome to come and view the changing displays of local artists work, or browse through a number of high quality prints. Artists wishing to sell their own work are able to hold their own exhibition within the shop itself.  Advice on picture conservation/restoration can also be given.
